Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross 🌟 Arc Review 🌟

I had no idea how much I would end up loving this! Rebecca Ross has created such an enchanting and passionate story here.Β  (And, the romance is just out of this world!)

Iris Winnow is vying for the role of columnist at the Gazette. She is trying to win this title over her rival, Roman Kitt. (Yes!! Enemies to lovers!! And it is amazing!)

At this time, there is a war being fought between a god and goddess. Men and women are being called to fight for either side, including Iris’s brother, Forest.Β Β  After 6 months of him missing,Β  Iris makes it her goal to find him.Β  After her mother’s sudden death, she signs up to be a war correspondent and makes her way to the war zone.

This story has magical typewriters,Β  stories on the lore of the god and goddess,Β  and seamlessly throughout all of this, the most romantic couple I’ve read about in a while.Β Β

The Renaissance of Gwen Hathaway by Ashley Schumacher 🌟 Arc Review 🌟

Thank you, Netgalley and Publisher, for this Arc!!!

This is the sweetest, bestest, made me cry bc it’s so sweet, ya book!! This story did not just tug at my heart strings, it played them like a Ren. Faire bard.

Madeline travels to different Ren Faires with her dad all year to sell journals and jewelry. Last year her mom died and she has been moving through a cloud of grief since then. But when she enters the Ren Faire this summer, she is surprised to find a bard named Arthur. A bard who asks her to be the Faires princess.

This book talks about grief so well. I think grief is hard to put in words, but this author did an amazing job with Madeline’s character. I saw myself in there too which is definitely something. I also loved that Madeline found acceptance with her weight. As something that I also struggle with, her story made me feel like being kinder to myself (I’m kind of shocked, I didn’t know that was possible). Maybe, I should be thanking the author, because this story made a real difference in my life. I even went to Target!! And, it was amazing!!

Sappiest review ever?? Possibly.

Should you check out this book? Definitely!

Never Ever Getting Back Together by Sophie Gonzales 🌟 Arc Review🌟

Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for this Arc!!

Yes! Revenge against a cheating ex? Reality TV show? Sapphic romance? Yes, Please and Thank You.

This is such a fun read. It really had everything and more for a romance. This was completely unexpected and absolutely perfect.

Maya gets a phone call that at first seems like a practical joke. Go on a reality TV show to re-date her ex among other girls so the ex can choose the right girl for him? An ex that cheated on her and that she hates? And the girl he cheated on her with is going to be there too? Yes…. She grudgingly accepts not knowing the drama and surprises that await her.

This book is about revenge on that one person that holds a special place as the worst human ever. And, trust me, I have a few to choose from that I would love to serve up some revenge too! This is a girl power, friendships beat all, and whirlwind Sapphic romance that had me laughing and swooning.

A Wilderness of Stars by Shea Ernshaw! 🌟 Arc Review 🌟

Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for this Arc!!

Wow. This was like a dream, haunting and lovely. I really didn’t know what I was getting into but this story completely swept me away into it’s tale.

Vega is the Astronomer and she is searching for the Architect. On a mission to save this world before it is swallowed by darkness and sickness. Or, to at least save herself.

On this journey through dusty towns she finds danger and love and courage. All the emotions ya’ll!! Just an absolutely beautiful story. .

Three Kisses, One Midnight by Roshani Chokshi, Evelyn Skye and Sandhya Menon 🌟ARC Review 🌟

Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for this Arc!!

Such romance! I adored this! 3 short stories about Onny, Ash and True finding love on the 400th anniversary of their towns founding. The sky itself holds 2 lovers on this night, the Lady and Gentleman of Moon Ridge. But, the Lady’s star is missing from the sky and it’s possible on this magical night that she is at Onny’s parent’s gala with the rest of the town making sure love finds it’s way to these three friends.

This was great. I loved that it was 3 different stories, one about each friend. This let me get to know them really well and feel a connection to this tale. I am a sucker for romance and this book is perfection!

The Holloway Girls by Susan Crispell!! 🌟 Arc Review 🌟

Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for this Arc!!

Remy is a Holloway girl. And, this comes with a strange sort of responsibility for a girl at age 16. A Holloway girl’s kiss supposedly brings bad luck during her season. However, when it’s Remy’s turn, she discovers that even something as simple as a lucky kiss can turn bad. She kisses her crush and he falls under a spell of bad luck! But, is this really Remy’s fault?

I mostly enjoyed this story. My favorite piece to this tale is Tobin’s character and how Remy seems to grow stronger and more confident by the end of the book. The magic is really low-key and not discussed in great detail but that didn’t take away from this fun, fast-paced read.

🌟 Arc Review 🌟 This May End Badly by Samantha Markum!

Thank you Netgalley and Wednesday Books for this incredible arc!

I love the fake dating romance trope and this book instantly became another new favorite for me this year. Doe and Wells make for a delicious and delightful team in this story and I loved every second of it!

The fast-paced, humorous and endearing world and relationship with these characters made me never want this book to end. Although the story is light-hearted and fun, there were some serious topics covered which made this tale more authentic.

I recommend getting your hands on this one! Definitely do not miss out on this witty romantic read. I cannot recommend this more!
