The Love Curse of Melody Mcintyre by Robin Talley, A Quick Review

As soon as I began reading The Love Curse of Melody Mcintyre I immediately felt a connection to the main character, Mel.
When her role as a stage manager (SM) for her high school’s plays and musicals is endangered by a bad break up with her girlfriend, the crew decides that Mel should stay single and not fall in love as a way to beat the curse that seems to make everything go wrong.
Mel agrees, however,  she has a change of heart when she meets the local high school celebrity who is able to take part in the upcoming musical Les Mis.
This book had everything I wanted for a lighthearted romance.  It was sweet and cute and romantic. Not to mention that there were some parts that had me laughing out loud.  The author did an amazing job making these characters relatable and loveable.  I also kind of wish I had been in drama club too because it sounds like so much fun!
