A Witch’s Guide to Fake Dating a Demon by Sarah Hawley 🌟 Arc Review 🌟

Thank you, Netgalley and Publisher, for this Arc!!

This is a grumpy/sunshine romcom with just the right amount of spice.

Mariel is a powerful witch but struggles to harness her powers. She is amazing with plant magic but is having trouble with all other areas. When she accidentally summons a demon instead of a bag of flour, she is in for a surprise. The demon is quite sexy, but unfortunately, he wants to bargain for her soul.

This is a really fun read! I did think it was a bit predictable, but I still really enjoyed this.

Georgie, All Along by Kate Clayborn 🌟 Arc Review 🌟

Thank you, Netgalley and Publisher, for this Arc!!!

This is the perfect romcom. Two characters working with themselves, through their own emotions, and Voila! True love! This has the angst, the humor, the romance and spice I needed for romcom bliss.

Georgie moves back home after being retired from her job as a Personal assistant in California with her screenwriter boss, she decides to take a long vacation. She is at once overwhelmed and underwhelmed by going back to small town life. At least, until she meets Levi Fanning.

One of my favorite parts of this story was Levi’s dog, Hank. Hank is a constant source of comic relief and loveable cuteness that cannot be ignored.. So, yeah. A perfect romcom with a cut doggie. I cannot ask for more!

A Guide to Being Just Friends by Sophie Sullivan 🌟 Arc Review 🌟

Thank you, Netgalley and Publisher, for this Arc!!

This book practically defines “friends to lovers trope” to the extreme! A slow burn that was full to brimming with an amazing friendship between two individuals that finally turned into love.

I liked this read. Both of the main characters, Hailey and Wes, have their own baggage to work through. While both seem to think they are handling their fresh starts in California well, it turns out that when friendship turns to love, some of that baggage can resurface.

Back in a Spell by Lana Harper 🌟 Arc Review 🌟

Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for this Arc!

I really enjoyed my first trip into the magical community of Thistle Grove. Nina Blackmoor was a really interesting character. I had a somewhat love/hate relationship with her mainly because, due to her family and their fortune, she comes off as being a bit stiff and judgemental at times. Other than that, however, I really enjoyed this read.

Nina is getting over a serious break-up when her best friend, Jessa, dares her to go on a date and change things up a bit. Nina meets Morty, a nonbinary pan individual who is overwhelming amazing. When Nina has a bad start on their first date she is surprised to find that she has a new connection to a goddess of the lake and that Morty somehow has magic.

This was a fun, cute and sexy read that gave me everything I look for in a romcom and fantasy combo.

Never Ever Getting Back Together by Sophie Gonzales 🌟 Arc Review🌟

Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for this Arc!!

Yes! Revenge against a cheating ex? Reality TV show? Sapphic romance? Yes, Please and Thank You.

This is such a fun read. It really had everything and more for a romance. This was completely unexpected and absolutely perfect.

Maya gets a phone call that at first seems like a practical joke. Go on a reality TV show to re-date her ex among other girls so the ex can choose the right girl for him? An ex that cheated on her and that she hates? And the girl he cheated on her with is going to be there too? Yes…. She grudgingly accepts not knowing the drama and surprises that await her.

This book is about revenge on that one person that holds a special place as the worst human ever. And, trust me, I have a few to choose from that I would love to serve up some revenge too! This is a girl power, friendships beat all, and whirlwind Sapphic romance that had me laughing and swooning.

Built to Last by Erin Hahn 🌟 Arc Review 🌟

Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for this Arc!

I love friends to lovers, a one bed only trope and throw in a reality TV home remodeling show??? YES!!!

This was a hit for me. Shelby and Cam started something at age 17 when their tv/sitcom coming of age show went off the air 10 years ago and now, they are working together again!

This has a great build up to steamy romance and a lot of sweet nothings that left me sighing. What I especially loved was the attention to details about them as a couple but first and foremost as individuals.

Cam really had to make peace with his family, especially his father. He was also struggling with the idea of setting down roots somewhere more permanently than he has been. Shelby has spent the last 5 years sober and focusing on herself. My personal favorite thing about this book is that Shelby is a skilled woodworker and works with her dad on renovations.

If your a fan of romcoms then I definitely recommend this!
