Such Pretty Flowers by K.L. Cerra 🌟 Arc Review 🌟

Thank you, Netgalley and Publisher, for this Arc!!!

This was one of those weird, creepy thrillers, and I loved every second! Give me the weird and strange with a Savannah setting and goth goth gothic style, and I am happy!!

Holly recently lost her brother to suicide and she has been picking apart the possibilities, the reasons why, nonstop. When she begins thinking of Dane’s girlfriend that he moved in with right before the tragedy, she feels not only suspicion but an attachment to this girl, Maura.

Holly soon finds herself interacting with Maura, trying to parcel together clues for her brothers sudden decline. However, when she decides to move in with her to further along her chances of figuring this out, everything seems to start slipping sideways. Maura seems to all at once to be in and out of control while Holly realizes she has stumbled into something beyond her understanding. Something so strange and unthinkable that she may follow the same path as her brother.

This was so fun! The author didn’t hide that Maura was a suspect, so I really felt like I was being led into the finale very purposefully. But, the finale itself!!! I am so glad I got to dip into this author’s creative and creepy mind! And, I’m looking forward to their next book!

🌟 Arc Review 🌟 The Ravenous Dead by Darcy Coates!

Thank you Netgalley for this wonderful arc!

This book and this series has such a great vibe to it. I feel so at home reading this horror, murder/mystery style book. It’s the perfect series to curl up with at night and enjoy a glass of wine or cup of tea or whatever! Your beverage of choice, ya’ll.

The small town fills with gossip as Keira becomes more well known, for better or worse (but mostly better). She is living in a cabin by the graveyard and trying to use her abilities to help the ghosts pass on. Things quickly escalate when not only does she find an evil ghostly presence near the graveyard, but also when her past comes back to haunt her threatening to take away her new life.

I love the friendship between Keira, Zoe and Mason. Zoe cracks me up with her conspiracy theories and Mason is endearing with his calm and caring attitude. This book gave me everything I need; thrills, chills and laughs and love. I definitely recommend this series!

Out March 15th!

🌟 Arc Review 🌟 I am Margaret Moore by Hannah Capin!

Thank you Netgalley for this Arc!

Wow! I am speechless. I read this in one sitting simply because the author drew me in so completely with this hypnotic writing that did more than just tell a story. I Am Margaret Moore is full to brimming with emotion and I can see so many people relating to this tale on multiple levels.

Four girls with an incredible friendship developed at a camp over many summers of attendance are always there for each other. Even when it’s difficult, confusing and life-changing. This story speaks on deep friendships and love, heartbreak and betrayal. I was entranced to the last page and I believe this book will always be on my mind.

I highly recommend this read. I feel like I was there. That Margaret Moore’s emotions were mine and this story is now a part of me, too. There are some trigger warnings for death, loss, grief and unsettling scenes.

Look for this on March 15th!
