After Dark with Roxie Clark by Brooke Lauren Davis 🌟 Arc Review 🌟

Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for this Arc!

This was such a fun ya murder/mystery. It revolves around family sticking together, appreciating the past and a few ghost stories as well.

Roxie gives ghost tours about her ancestors that had some sudden and surprising deaths over the past 150 years or so. Her sister has been in mourning for her once boyfriend for over a year but things are about to change. Roxie’s sister, Skylar, has a plan to find her boyfriends murderer herself, and of course, Roxie is there to help.

This book is exciting and fast-paced with some interesting twists and turns! A good read for spooky season!

The Christmas Murder Game by Alexandra Benedict 🌟 Arc Review 🌟

Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for this Arc!

What a perfectly cozy Holiday thriller!

This follows Lilly, a quiet but kind designer that winds up getting wrapped up in family drama when her Aunt dies and her last letter requests Lilly to join a 12 days of Christmas game to win the family mansion.

Lilly’s mother committed suicide in the maze behind this huge house when Lilly was very young. However, as the game begins and Lilly unravels anagrams in the clues, she realizes there is a lot more to learn about her mother and family… especially, when the other cousins begin to be murdered one by one.

This really gave me great fall and winter/holiday vibes. The perfect read to snuggle up with a blanket and some hot cocoa!

Malice House by Megan Shepard 🌟 Arc Review 🌟

Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for this Arc!

I absolutely loved this horror novel for a multitude of reasons, but essentially, because it relates how through writing and art characters and stories can be brought to life… literally, in this case.

Haven is an illustrator and has just made a recent move into her deceased father’s house named Malice. Her father was very well known for his writing, even winning some amazing awards. So, when Haven finds an unpublished manuscript of his and spends time illustrating the multitude of characters from this collection of short scary stories, she soon realizes there are things happening around her and in this town that she cannot control.

This book has so many great aspects. Bone chilling horror characters from a witch that eerily distorts reality to a hellhound among all varieties of other types of creepiness.

I definitely recommend this to fans of horror!

Dark Tides by K8mberly Vale 🌟 Arc Review 🌟

Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for this Arc!

I was so excited to read this sequel to Crossbones and I was not disappointed.

This was a treat and the best part is that the saga will continue! I was thrilled by the ending and can’t wait to see where the author takes this.  This book was full of dreamwraiths, creatures coming through the limbo between worlds and lots of card games and trickery.  This crew together is brilliant and overall, this is a really fun series!

The House at Phantom Park by Graham Masterton 🌟 Arc Review 🌟

Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for this Arc!

This is a great new look on the haunted hospital up for renovations idea that is found in some other ghost stories. I really love the haunted hospital vibe because it offers so much for gruesome and intense horror which this book certainly has. Also, this story has a very unique take with these ghosts, how they affect their victims and where exactly they are from. All of this together gave me a very satisfying spooky read!

If you enjoy books by this author and intense ghost stories then this may be the perfect read for you!
