Blood Promise by Richelle Mead, A Review

This fourth book in the Vampire Academy series does not disappoint: full of non-stop action, heartbreak, and surprises, and yet it still leaves me wanting more!

This review does contain spoilers if you haven’t read the first three books in the Vampire Academy series.

Rose has finally left school but it’s not because she graduated. She has given up her life of guarding her best friend Lissa for a greater purpose, finding Dimitri. Rose loves Dimitri more than anything but he has been turned into a Strigoi and her mission now is to find him and kill him. This would fulfill his wishes. Dimitri always said, and Rose agreed, that if he was ever turned he would rather die than live his life as a Strigoi.

Rose finds herself in Siberia, but even though she is thousands of miles away from Lissa she can still have a one-way connection with her through their bond. However, Rose does not like what she is seeing through Lissa’s eyes. Lissa has made a new friend, Avery, and although she seems caring, Avery certainly puts Lissa in some bad positions which leaves Rose wishing she could be there for her best friend.

This book is so packed with heartwrenching drama that I could barely handle it. I highly recommend continuing the Vampire Academy series with this incredible addition.

Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!!!
